Last year I shared details of the wonderful AutoLab – this creates an automated ready to use VMware vSphere lab environment using VMware Workstation, Fusion or ESXi within a couple of hours.
Version 2.6 was released this year with support for vSphere 6 and VSAN, so this seems perfect for creating a lab environment in preparation for the VCP6. This version also has some detailed instructions for creating a nested lab in the ‘cloud’ via Ravello systems: https://www.ravellosystems.com/
Again, a continued big thank you to Alastair Cooke, Nick Marshall and the #vBrownBag team for their continued hard work to the project and for sharing with the community.
…And as like last year, I will be sharing my experiences of the updated version of AutoLab at TechUG sessions across the country in 2016. I look forward to seeing you all again in a city near you soon!
