Amongst other things I love my part time role at Leeds University Business School, where I’m an Associate Professor in Innovation Management Practice. My areas of interest include innovation, innovation management, design thinking, the application of emerging technology to drive business value and employability skills. Oh, and I write novels, give history talks and enjoy walking and gardening etc.
My Leeds role follows on from a very successful three year Royal Academy of Engineering sponsored Visiting Professorship at the University of Leeds focused on innovation and employability skills.
I worked in IBM for over 20 years in client facing roles including Chief Innovation Office, Chief Architect and Executive Architect. My passions included using IBM tech to drive innovation and business value for and with IBM’s clients, and supporting the development and training of IBM’s next generation of technology professionals.
